Welcome to the Home of The Alma Hospital Trust

The AHT was started in 1996 by one remarkable man, Mohammed Younis. A postman with no fundraising experience, he felt it was his calling to build and equip a western-style hospital in one of Pakistan's poorest regions. Incredibly, in 2007, he succeeded and The Alma Bi Hospital opened its doors for the first time.

This astonishing piece of first world medicine now operates proudly within an area of acute poverty, saving and improving lives every day.
